The Scratch Star

“It’s so expensive” that’s the first thing I thought. “Is it really worth it and will it work?”

We aren’t an affluent family so spending this amount of money on a single item had to be well considered and thought out.

I had seen the ads and read reviews - but can we really trust reviews in a world where chat bots can just make up fake ones?

However seeing my son for the third time today come down stairs because the backs of his knees are itchy and the creams we get given by doctors, who won’t commit to what they think the issue is - eczema? Sweat rash? Allergies? psoriasis? Who knows!? don’t always help; I just had enough.

So I bought the star. I bought the expensive star and hoped this wasn’t some manufactured in China cheap piece of tat.

So what did I get? I got a quite heavy, well made item. It feels good in your hand. Soft to touch and quite cooling even out of the fridge. It says it’s medical grade (all tested and certified) and it feels it.

But does it work? Yes. Yes it does. My son was thrashing around in the night crying because he was so itchy. He would scratch until his skin was raw.

This star helps soothe him, it calms him down and it relieves the itch without damaging his skin.

It’s easy to clean, it’s great in or out of the fridge and it’s sturdy! It feels good on the skin and it works.

So when you look at the price and say “it’s so expensive” please know you are genuinely buying a well made, durable item that helps. It’s not a cure but it really helps. It’s not a purchase it’s an investment.

Critical feedback back - could you guys make a smaller sized one for travel purposes? I know you make the ball but a small star would be great and also a smaller size for facial eczema and eczema around the eyes would be handy.

We couldn’t recommend this product enough! After my son scratching his eczema for years and making it incredibly sore we can finally give him something to help him manage the itch safely and minimise any extra damage to the skin.

It’s such an easy product for children to use aswell as adults and has been a life saver for us throughout the winter months and I imagine it will be perfect throughout the summer too especially when stored in the fridge.

I’ve only recently heard of Cosi Care and am glad I have, but wish I’d also know about the products ages ago, when I was going through my awful experiences of TSW. I purchased the Scratch Roller which feels so cooling to my skin and stops me from feeling like I’m going crazy when my skin is itching like mad. I have also just received my free puffer mini roller which I’m going to take to work with me, for when I’m suffering with my hands and around my mouth. I also pre ordered the star scratcher and can’t wait for this to arrive too! What amazing inventions. Thanks Cosi Care 🤩 x

Such a great product and worth the money 100% such an instant relief when itchy and doesnt break the skin. Best when a dot of moisturiser is used fresh out the fridge xx

Honestly cannot rave about this enough my little boy is 1 and has skin flair ups since birth we have been on courses of multiple steroids, creams, bandage wraps you name it and the scratching is horrific to the point where he makes himself bleed… the scratch star helps so much he can kind of use it himself and now loves a good pamper on a evening of a back scratch with his perscribed moisturiser to the point where he actually lays still to let me do it ( that’s never heard of) Thankyou so so much we love this and cannot recommend it enough ❤️

Cosi care absolutely saved my skin, from wet wrapping, constant hospital visits and nothing was working. I found cosi care and my skin has never been better. The scratch star helped my skin so much. I would recommend to absolutely everyone.

My son loves his cosi care and has helped clear up his eczema and stop the broken skin from scratching

According to my partner, it actually works.
I bought it for her because she was always scratching herself until bleeding. This helps by 1) having to decide that it's scratching time and pulling it out of the fridge instead of doing it all the day and 2) because she hasn't been able to draw blood yet despite scratching very hard.
She says it feels just like scratching so it stops the urge.

Very pricey but it does its job.

I am a adult and had eczema for years. I bought this as I constantly scratch. It does help but does not give full relief. I dont regret buying though

Bought to stop my Grandaughter scratching and causing infections . Nice weight to the product and easy to hold . She is enjoying the scratch effect without breaking the skin . Keeping it in the fridge for extra cooling on the skin.

The cooling scratch star has given my granddaughter Lilia so much relief from her eczema.
She was covered from head to her toes with weeping bleeding skin and has not always been compliant with her creams. Lilia now uses the cooling scratch star from the fridge to apply her emolients. She says that it stops the itcing and helps her to sleep. Lilia's skin has improved so much and she is a much happier girl. Thank you from her Nanny.

Such a fantastic product. It has eased the painful scratching and provides the same sensation that all of us suffering with eczema crave from scratching. I would highly recommend this product.

I held off buying this for a long time because of the price and trying to justify it, my husband ended up ordering it for me - I’ve only had it 2 days and it’s honestly been life changing already! I have ‘scratched’ myself so hard with the scratch star (harder than is advised in the instructions I imagine!) and no damage whatsoever, just complete relief from the intense itch. Having the option to put in the fridge especially in this recent hot weather has been devine!
The product feels of such high quality which is unsurprising as I watched the video of the time and research and testing that has gone into it. 100% worth it!

My 7 year old son has suffered with eczema since a baby and has had to deal with the itch/scratch cycle since he can remember. His new scratch star has helped hugely to clear up most recent sore areas due to it relieving him without damaging skin further. Can’t thank you enough

It does what needs to be done without and damage to her skin, my daughters skin is already healing as her cuts and scratches are not being pulled or dug at this product onve again is life changing
its soothing gentle takes up no room at all in fridge, I only wish I purchased this earlier

Wow what an amazing creation! My son’s eczema is finally starting to heal on his legs as he’s using the star when they’re itchy. No more scratching, bleeding and scabs. The coolness of the star really helps too to soothe the itching.

My daughter has been struggling for 22 years. This is the first and best thing she has ever used for her skin.

My son struggles with not scratching when he gets a breakout of eczema. I'd seen him make his skin worse and no matter how many times someone says, "stop scratching", you just can't help it. The star is expensive but has been worth the investment, as I've seen his skin improve quicker since using it in place of using his nails to scratch. He keeps it in a ziploack bag in the fridge, sanitising it with skin-safe antibac wipes before putting it away. I contemplated purchasing the silicone cover, but thought the cost was too high - a little ziplock bag does just fine! Perhaps an offer to purchase the cover at a reduced rate at checkout, when buying the star?

Great product!! 100% recommend my 5 yr old constantly scratches until she’s bleeding and red raw now she uses her scratch star and it’s helping!! I no the price is a bit steep but it’s 100% worth it!!!
