Bought this for my 19year old son who has severe excema, it’s really helped him to scratch safely so he doesn’t damage his skin and cause an infection.
It was very costly however it does do the trick he’s really pleased with it….think of maybe getting him the smooth one at a later date. I never write reviews normally so if you are in any doubt about this product it does work and helps him massively.

I suffer with severe ezchma and have resorted to relieve scratches using any object I could find. The scratch star has been so helpful to reduce risk of infection, open wounds and scaring. It is naturally cooling due to the metal, especially if put in the fridge. I recommend as someone who bought it as a last resort. 100% recommendations.

I bought this for my elderly grandfather who is in kidney failure. This causes itching that can't be relieved by any ointment or cream since it essentially under the skin itching. Also being elderly, he has very delicate skin. This has been ideal for him and has been a fantastic relief. It does seem expensive on the face of it and I do wish the cap was included with the star, but I would pay so much more to see that look of relief on his face as he finally had something to ease the itching.

I was unsure if this was going to be worth the money for such a little tool, but this genuinely has immediately changed my husband's life.
He has horrible psoriasis that itches him constantly. His legs are always full of open wounds, and for years his legs itch, bleed, heal, itch, bleed, heal, in a constant cycle.
He now carries this star around with him like a pacifier and uses it every time his legs itch. There is not a single open wound on his leg now. You can see the psoriasis, but it's not angry and red anymore from all his fingernail itching.
