I bought this for my elderly grandfather who is in kidney failure. This causes itching that can't be relieved by any ointment or cream since it essentially under the skin itching. Also being elderly, he has very delicate skin. This has been ideal for him and has been a fantastic relief. It does seem expensive on the face of it and I do wish the cap was included with the star, but I would pay so much more to see that look of relief on his face as he finally had something to ease the itching.

I was unsure if this was going to be worth the money for such a little tool, but this genuinely has immediately changed my husband's life.
He has horrible psoriasis that itches him constantly. His legs are always full of open wounds, and for years his legs itch, bleed, heal, itch, bleed, heal, in a constant cycle.
He now carries this star around with him like a pacifier and uses it every time his legs itch. There is not a single open wound on his leg now. You can see the psoriasis, but it's not angry and red anymore from all his fingernail itching.
He's not a dramatic guy, so I asked him his review - and he said "Life Changing."

love this product and it has definitely helped my eczema however, if you use it too hard it leaves bruises and did cut my skin open a little bit even when using a cream. but i would 100% recommend

I bought the scratch star for my fiancé who has psoriasis. For the price, I was nervous it wouldn't be worth it but he has said it's one of the best things to help. He says it's particularly good in the bath as that's when it's most itchy and he can scratch without worrying about cuts. It's a great size and the shape makes it easy to hold. Easy to clean. "It's the first time in years I've been able to scratch without drawing blood".

I've suffered with chronic dermatitis for quite some time now. I've used creams that doctors had prescribed to me and none of them had worked.
I recently bought 2 of the cosi care stars and I honestly can't thank you enough. my skin isn't dry and it's not flaky as much anymore. I'm still suffering with itchiness but using the star really helps with that.
instead of scratching away at my skin to the point that I'm bleeding and struggling to grip my own hand, the star relieves that itchiness and doesn't damage my skin.
