Born From The Reality of Living With Chronic Itch

Lauren grew up with eczema and watched her little brother battle years of severe eczema and TSW. Rhys struggled to "stop scratching" and she wanted to invent a solution to support her family. Sandip, a proud father of six, knows first-hand the heartbreak of watching your child struggle with chronic health conditions and feeling powerless to help. Because when itch strikes, scratching isn't a choice. It's instinct.

Two People. One Mission.

We built Cosi Care for every person who's ever suffered from itchy skin. Because we get it. Founded by Lauren Bell and Sandip Leihal, two people who have watched how itchy skin affects the entire family.

Lauren Bell

Co-Founder & Inventor

Lauren's little brother, Rhys, lived with severe eczema all his life. After decades of hearing her parents tell Rhys to "just stop scratching", she invented a new solution. Safe Scratching. Lauren has eczema herself and understands the daily battle to try and not scratch skin. Inventor and designer from Wales, she used her creativity to design each product with love and care.

Co-Founder & Business Strategist

Sandip is a proud dad to 6 children, and has lived through the heartbreakof raising children with chronic health conditions. After seeing how different types of conditions affect the entire family, from Acne to hives, he knew there was something missing within the world of chronic itch. Dad's will do anything to help their children through a tough time, and he is on a mission to ensure no parent feels alone in moments of agony and confusion.

Poppy lives with Harlequin Ichthyosis, a rare genetic skin condition that can cause extremely dry, tight and fragile skin. We're so proud to have Poppy as part of the Cosi Care family, helping raise awareness with her incredible strength and resilience.

George was Cosi Care's very first little tester at just 4 years old. Now 11, he proudly helps raise awareness of eczema at school, and we're so proud to have watched him grow as part of the Cosi Care family.

Jen lives with eczema and TSW and openly shares the daily frustration of relentless itching and scratching. Through her honesty, she helps others feel understood while raising awareness of the realities of living with chronic skin conditions.

Darnay lives with vitiligo and experiences itchy skin, especially in the sun. By sharing his journey, he helps raise awareness that itch can affect people with many different skin conditions and deserves greater understanding.

Chloe lives with Ilven, a rare skin condition that can cause persistent itch and pain. She never lets her condition hold her back, inspiring others with her positivity, determination and resilience.

Brea shares her Psoriasis journey online and is an incredible advocate for embracing the skin you're in. Through her honesty and confidence, she encourages others to feel proud of their skin and know they're not alone.

The Future
